CST Announce Industry’s First Memory Tester for PC133 DIMM Module.
CST, Inc., a 16 years privately owned memory tester company, confirms the delivery of new enhancements for two of its testers to test the new PC133 SDRAM DIMM. This makes CST, Inc. the first in the industry to provide low cost test solution for the new 133Mhz standard SDRAM memory module.
The “SDRAM III” Platform together with its new 168pin socket header is for upgrading the CST Eureka series testers. Memory module manufacturers can now test the faster PC133 module by just swapping the test head instead of replacing the entire tester. Due to the faster clock cycle, users can now double its test through put for the same test time. Clock frequency base of the tester can be switched between 66Mhz, 100Mhz and 133Mhz, making it the most frequency versatile tester.
The new “SP3000-133” series tester also provides added capability for testing the PC133 memory modules at affordable prices. This stand-alone tester provides low cost 133Mhz memory test solution for the computer integrators, memory resellers, and service depots. It is indeed the fastest tester and the easiest to use in its class.
Both of the above testers utilize advanced DLL (Data Lock Loop) technique for repeatable test stability. Test capability include the PC133 Unbuffered SDRAM module as well as the PC133 Register SDRAM module. The “SDRAM III Platform” for the Eureka series tester starts at $3,300 while the PC133 enhancement for the SP3000 tester is at only $995. They are both available from stock.
