CST Launches First Low Cost Real Time DDR Tester
CST Inc., an 18 years privately owned memory tester company, will launch its New SP3000-DDR testers to test the new PC1600/PC2100 DDR memory at Comdex Fall 2001 show. This makes CST, Inc. the first in the industry to provide low cost real time test solution for the new 266Mhz standard 184 pin DDR memory module.
"While most DDR module testers are using ‘skip-cycle’ or ‘read-twice’ technology that does not fully simulate the actual operational environment" said Daniel Tan, CST West Coast marketing manager "this new tester utilizes a State-of-Art ASIC memory controller to truly emulate the motherboard running speed." "Test time is cut into half and a lot of the hard-to-find memory frauds will be uncovered because of that".
The "SP3000 DDR Adapter" is build to work with the universal SP3000 base which allow user to swap inter-changeable DDR, SDRAM & DRAM test adapters. With a simple push button the SP3000-DDR tester will quickly auto-identify and tell you the Memory size, clock frequency, speed, Registered or Unbuffered memory module. It will even allow you to read and program SPD EEPROM on DDR-SDRAM module.
The new "SP3000 DDR-266" adapter series tester provides added capability for testing the PC1600/ PC2100 DDR memory modules at affordable prices targeted for the computer integrators, memory resellers, and service depots. It is indeed the fastest tester and the easiest to use in its class.
An advanced PC software is available for interfacing to a PC. The SP3000-DDR tester can also be interface to CST ‘s RoboFlex handler for mass volume testing.
The SP3000-DDR Memory tester will be available for volume production by December 15, 2001 and price starts from $1995.
