CST Inc, have added a new “Precision labelling” system code name "Robo-Labeler" to the Roboflex handler and its revolutionary concept does not use any expensive Pick and Place system for placing pre-printed labels on DIMM memory modules.
The "Patent-Pending" Robo-Labeler system uses a direct socket insertion concept for label placement similar with memory module testing.
The Robo-Labeler gently pushes stacked modules horizontally into a labelling site one at a time for placement. On the labeler rear-end, a reel of pre-printed labels are fed into a wedge-shape block to peel off the label for placement. Several Thumb-screws fine adjustments are necessary to ensure the labels are position accurately on the DIMM module
A set of roller-clamp mechanism then transfer the peeled label and placed it directly on the module,and immediately after the placement, the module is withdrawn from the Labelling site and are dropped into collecting bins by the conveyor system.
In the manufacturing enviroment,each placement of labels and output of module takes approximately 5 seconds or 720 module per hour. High throughput design enable placement of up to 6,000 labels , base on a single 8 hour shift using a single system.

The "Robo-Labeler" is equipped with a universal input tray that fits all kind of standard 184pin & 168pin DIMM without any adjustment neccessary.
With a quick change of “Robo-Labeler" – the RoboFlex handler with “Robo-Labeler” can be quickly converted back for production testing. The “Robo-Labeler” will work with both RoboFlex-1 and RoboFlex-II base handler.
The RoboFlex Handler with Labeling option is now available. Price starts at $8995. Options are available for 200pin and 144pin SODIMM.
