Qimonda has announced that its 75nm-made 512Mb mobile RAM is now in sampling status, in both component and known-good-die (KGD) forms.
The company highlights that its mobile RAM can reduce power consumption by up to 80% compared to equivalent density standard DRAM.
This mobile RAM is designed for applications such as smartphones, GPS devices, digital cameras and digital music players, the company stated.
