A-Data Technology has cancelled its schedule investor meeting due to possible poor third-quarter earnings.
A-Data originally planed to release its third-quarter financial earnings at a conference on October 17 but the company informed investors that the meeting would be canceled on October 12 sparking speculation of poor earnings. However, A-Data said the major causes of the cancellation were that company chairman and CEO Simon Chen had been unexpectedly called to a conference overseas, and because the company needed to change the venue of the gathering.
The memory-module maker indicated that its financials for the third quarter will be released on October 17 as scheduled, but the investors conference for the quarter will be rescheduled to another day.
