A panel focusing on U.S.-China economic and military relations will deliver its annual report to Congress next week.
The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission will deliver its recommendations to lawmakers next Thursday (Nov. 15) during a Capitol Hill briefing.
The commission said Friday that recommendations will cover weapons proliferation, the transfer of U.S. high technology, manufacturing and R&D activities to China, energy policy, China's military modernization and Beijing's relations with India and Taiwan.
Observers said the panel is expected to take a hard line on China's efforts to upgrade its military and U.S. export controls on high-tech goods shipped to China.
