Alcatel-Lucent said on Monday it had signed a framework agreement in China worth a total of $1.11 billion, of which 60 percent was in new deals.
The deals are with China Mobile and China Unicom. The solutions Alcatel-Lucent is to provide will enable China Mobile and China Unicom to expand the capacity and coverage of their mobile networks so that they can continue to meet the robust demand for mobile services in China.
