Memory module maker Power Quotient International (PQI) will post after-tax losses of NT$444 million (US$13.9 million), according to company sources.
Affected by declining DRAM and NAND flash prices, the company saw a net loss of NT$447 million in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to a net profit of NT$3 million recorded in the first three quarters, the sources noted.
Gross margin for the fourth quarter was minus 1.44% compared to a gross margin of 2.16% in the previous quarter, although sales were up 8% sequentially to NT$7.63 billion in the fourth quarter, said the sources
