Nanya denies any joint-venture agreement being formed or signed with Micron or any company in a move to clarify such a report by Reuters earlier.
According to the report, a condition of the new joint venture, to be finalized in March, involved the licensing of 1GB, 68nm technology at Nanya's new fab.
Nanya did say it was in touch with Micron and Elpida Memory, but stressed the contact among the companies had not resulted in any agreements.
