Elitegroup Computer System (ECS) expects its notebook shipments in 2008 to increase to 3.8 million units, an on-year growth of 26.67%.

In addition to more upcoming OEM orders, the company plans to launch 9- and 11-inch G10IL notebooks for the telecommunications channel market. ECS is currently in negotiations with vendors in Europe and the US.
