SanDisk Corp. has acquired MusicGremlin Inc., a company that develops digital content distribution technologies.
The acquisition expands SanDisk's efforts in the MP3 business. Founded in 2003, MusicGremlin launched a portable Wi-Fi digital audio player about two years ago. The device incorporates programmed content that is automatically updated over a wireless connection.
