Huawei Technologies expects its shipments of terminal end telecom products to top 70 million units valued at US$4.1 billion in 2008.

Major terminal end products shipped in 2007 included 20 million handsets, 10 million wireless gateways, eight million 3G data cards, and seven million ADSL products, the company said, adding that revenues of terminal end products accounted for a 16% share of the company's total revenues in 2007.

For the first five months of 2008, total shipments of terminal end products have already surpassed 30 million units, with 3G data cards alone totaling 12 million units, the company noted
