Lenovo is launching a consumer-based IdeaPad G-series notebooks with prices between US$400-600 in the China market.
Currently, Lenovo has taken an around 30% share of the China notebook market and the new notebooks are expected to help the company expand the share further.
Lenovo has picked Quanta Computer to manufacture its IdeaPad G-series notebooks and since Lenovo is not experienced with consumer notebook manufacturing, the G-series will also be designed by Quanta
