Intel has launched three desktop CPUs: the Core 2 Quad Q8200, Core 2 Duo E5200 and Celeron D 450.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 features a core frequency of 2.33GHz, 4MB L2 cache, FSB of 1333MHz and is manufactured on Intel's 45nm process. The CPU is priced at US$224 in thousand-unit tray quantities.

The E5200 features a core frequency of 2.5GHz, 2MB L2 cache, FSB of 800MHz and 45nm process. The CPU is priced at US$84. The 450 features a core frequency of 2.2GHz, 512KB L2 cache, FSB of 800MHz and 65nm process. The price is set at US$53.
