Foxconn Electronics has announced the purchase of half a billion NT$ Dollars of machinery and equipment from Sony Manufacturing Systems to ramp up its production

IFoxconn did not reveal what kind of products it will produce using the newly acquired machinery. However according to market sources, Foxconn may secure contract orders for LCD TVs and notebooks from Sony.
