DRAM prices have dropped to new lows, with 1GB DDR2 reaching only US$0.6, according to market sources.
Although Taiwan DRAM makers have stopped taking orders offering unreasonable prices in order to protect themselves, Korean DRAM makers continues to lower prices, taking advantage of the deep depreciation of the Korean currency, the sources noted.
The sources forecast that DRAM prices will continues to drop as long as the Korean won continues to depreciate.
