Transcend have unveiled a lineup of solid-state drives (SSD) that include a 1.8-inch portable SSD (SSD18M) and 1.8- and 2.5-inch form-factor SATA 3Gb/s and IDE interface SSDs, The former features eSATA and USB connection interfaces in capacities of up to 128GB, whereas the latter have storage capacities up to 192GB.

With the eSATA interface, Transcend's SSD18M provides a maximum read speed of 90MB/s and write speeds of 50MB/s. Meanwhile, its USB2.0 interface assures compatibility with all types of notebook and desktop PCs. Measuring 80×50×12.5mm and weighing 50g, the SSD18M is now available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities.

Transcend's new 1.8- and 2.5-inch form-factor internal SSDs with SATA 3Gb/s and IDE interfaces are available in capacities ranging from 8GB to 192GB.

According to Transcend, its SSDs are all equipped with lightweight cases and meet requirements such as reliability, low power consumption and resistance to shock and vibration.
