VIA Technologies and Silicon Integrated System (SiS) have both seen on-year declines in their May revenues, while accumulated revenues for the first five months of the year dropped around 50% compared to 2008.
VIA posted revenues of NT$383 million (US$11.65 million), an increase of 9% on month, but a drop of 37.56% on year for May. Accumulated revenues for the first five months of 2009 only reached NT$2.02 billion, a drop of 48.99% on year.
SiS announced revenues of NT$367 million for May, a growth of 12.92% on month, but a drop of 29.2% on year. Accumulated revenues from January to May reached NT$1.18 billion, a drop of 55.07% on year.
