On a unconsolidated basis, net sales at foundry chip supplier Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. for June 2009 were approximately NT$25.78 billion (about $780 million) down 9.6 percent on the same month a year before.
However, the sales were up 5.3 percent over May 2009. Revenues for January through June 2009 totaled NT$109.56 billion (about $3.32 billion), a decrease of 35.9 percent compared to the same period in 2008.
