Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has reportedly landed order for three notebook models from Asustek Computer that will help push Foxconn's 2009 notebook shipments to 3-4 million units, according to market sources.

The company's monthly shipments in the second half of 2009 are expected to be around 500,000-800,000 units, the sources noted.

Benefiting from iPhone 3GS, PS3 and desktop PC orders, Foxconn's revenues for June 2009 reached NT$128 billion (US$3.89 billion). Market watchers expect the company's revenues in July and August to maintain level with June and have chance to pick up in September.
