Nanya Technology on December 30 announced the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has affirmed the company and other DRAM makers that no violation was found in the Investigation No. 337-TA-630 (DRAM ITC action) brought by Tessera Technologies.
Tessera on August 28, 2009 asserted three patents (US Patent No. 5663106, 6133627 and 5679977) in its complaint to the ITC against chipmakers Elpida Memory, Nanya, Powerchip Semiconductor and ProMOS Technologies, and their partners that package and sell related products.
