Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced revenues for January 2010 slid 4.3% on month to NT$29.16 billion (US$910 million). Consolidated sales were NT$30.14 billion for the month, a decrease of 4.5% from December 2009.
On an annual basis, TSMC saw January revenues jump 134.4% over the same month in 2009. Consolidated revenues for January 2010 also soared significantly from NT$13.13 billion a year ago.
TSMC has estimated consolidated revenues for first-quarter 2010 at NT$89-91 billion, down slightly from NT$92.09 billion in the fourth quarter of 2009.
