Gigabyte Technology has showcased ultra-thin notebooks and Intel Pine Trail-M based netbooks at the ongoing CeBIT 2010 in Germany.
The new Gigabyte Booktop 13.3-inch M1305 ultra-thin notebook features a docking station which provides higher graphics performance via its embedded Nvidia GT220 graphics processor and HDMI support, the company said.
Gigabyte also displayed two 10.1-inch netbooks – the T1000 powered by an Intel Atom N450 or N470 CPU, and M-1000 built with an Atom N470 CPU, according to the company.
Gigabyte also unveiled USB-IF certified GA-P55A-UD7 and GA-P55A-UD5 motherboards that comply with the USB 3.0 specifications. Gigabyte is aggressively adopting USB 3.0 on a wide range of platforms, including Intel X58, P55, H57, H55, P45 and P43 chipsets, as well as the AMD 790FX, 790X, 770 and 785G chipsets and soon to be released 800-series chipsets, the company said.
