AMD is preparing to launch its six-core Phenom II X6 1055T and 1090T Black Edition CPUs with prices of US$207 soon, according to sources from motherboard makers.
AMD will launch three more six-core processors including the Phenom II X6 1035T at a later time.
First-tier motherboard makers Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology and Micro-Star International (MSI) are already set to launch related motherboard products along with the CPU, the sources noted.
AMD declined the opportunity to respond to this report saying it cannot comment on unannounced products.
