DRAM maker Inotera Memories has reported the purchase of NT$5.934 billion (US$188.8 million) worth of semiconductor equipment from lithography equipment vendor ASML, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
Since 2009, Inotera has completed five separate purchases totaling about NT$22 billion from ASML.
Inotera aims to convert all of its capacity (130,000 wafers/month) to a 50nm stack process by year-end 2010. Its capex goal for the year remains at NT$52 billion.
