Toshiba, on June 10, launched several new notebooks including the 10-inch netbook NB250, 13- to 15-inch Satellite L series mainstream notebooks and high-end multimedia Satellite A series at the end of June.
The NB250, made by Compal, features the Atom N455 processor and a 10-inch display, while all the models under the Satellite L series feature Intel's Core i5-520M and a discrete graphics card.
Toshiba also launched two notebooks under its Portege ultra-thin series, the 11-inch T210 adopts a Pentium U5400 processor and the 13-inch T230 using a Core i3-330UM processor. Both models are manufactured by Compal.
Toshiba also launched high-end Satellite A series notebooks priced at US$1500
In addition, Toshiba will announce a dual-screen notebook codenamed GuideBook using 7-inch displays, at the end of June. The PC is designed and manufactured in house, according to market watchers.
