Silicon Integrated System (SiS) posted June revenues of NT$276 million (US$8.57 million), down 10.33% on month and 29.43% on year, while VIA Technologies saw June revenues fall 4.84% on month, but up 5.85% on year to NT$439 million.
SiS's combined revenues for the first two quarters of 2010 reached NT$1.43 billion, down 9.29% on year, while revenues in the second quarter hit NT$821 million, up 35.7% on quarter.
SiS's PC chipset business currently only contributes less than 50% of the company's revenues, while shipments for Xbox 360 southbridge chips have reached 45-50% with the remaining percentage combined by touchscreen ICs and digital TV chips.
VIA had revenues of NT$1.3 billion in the second quarter, holding level compared to the first quarter, while the company's combined revenues for the first two quarters reached NT$2.54 billion, up 4.23% on year. |
