Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has announced that it will hire 3,000 more positions in the second half of 2010.

The expanion is to add more positions for its LED and thin-film PV businesses,

The company earlier in 2010 added 3,000 staff and is expected to turn 2,000 temporary positions into full-time employees by October, according to the company
