Acer has announced preliminary financial results for the first half of 2010. Consolidated revenues were NT$312.4 billion (US$9.7 billion), growing by 31% on year.

Operating income reached NT$8.5 billion (US$264 million), growing 52% on year. Acer's profits after tax were NT$6.9 billion (US$213 million) and EPS was NT$2.60. In the first half of 2009, profits after tax were NT$4.37 billion (US$135 million) and EPS was NT$1.66.

For the second quarter of 2010 preliminary results, Acer's consolidated revenues were NT$150.2 billion (US$4.7 billion), representing 26% on-year growth. Operating income was NT$4.1 billion (US$128 million), growing 36% on year. Profits after tax were NT$3.6 billion (US$111 million) and EPS was NT$1.35. In the second quarter of 2009, profits after tax were NT$2.3 billion (US$73 million) and EPS was NT$0.88.
