The China Electronic Appliance (CEAC) and China Video Industry Association (CVIA) plan to jointly hold a tablet PC industry summit in Beijing on August 20 with industry players including Intel, AMD, Microsoft, ARM, Nvidia and several Taiwan- and China-based hardware and software makers to attend, according to sources from PC players.

In addition to component makers, global brand vendors including Micro-Star International (MSI), Hewlett-Packard (HP), Lenovo, Founder, ViewSonic and Dell will also attend the show.
