Flextronics on October 14 held a ceremony to celebrate the launch of its newest Flextronics Computing facility, which is located in Wuzhong, China.
This new computing-focused campus is strategically aligned with Flextronics' other computing sites in Beijing, Shanghai and Wujiang and provides complete design and manufacturing services for desktop, all-in-one computers, notebook products and tablets.
Flextronics said it expects to hire more than 12,000 engineering and manufacturing employees for the new computing facility, which is over one million square feet in size.
"The Wuzhong campus launch is an exciting development for Flextronics Computing that reiterates our commitment to growth in China," said Sean Burke, president of Flextronics Computing segment.
