United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) turned in NT$10.7 billion (US$355 million) in October 2010 revenues, down 2.2% on month. But the figure showed 15.1% growth compared to the NT$9.3 billion posted in October 2009.

UMC's accumulated revenues from January through October reached NT$99.81 billion, up 42.25% from the same period of 2009.

UMC has estimated that its wafer shipments for the fourth quarter will decline 5% sequentially, due to seasonality. But the company's overall ASP for the quarter is likely to rise by 5% from the third quarter. It did not provide a revenue growth estimate.
