Monday, January 10, 2011

Motorola has showcased its new Android 3.0-based Xoom tablet PC and has placed orders for about 700,000-800,000 units with four color options for the first quarter of 2011.

Currently, Motorola and Samsung are Google's priority partners with LG Electronics and High Tech Computer (HTC) following behind, the sources noted.

The Xoom tablet PC adopts a 10.1-inch touch panel with a resolution of 1280 by 800, Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor and has HDMI and USB ports. The device also features a 5-megapixel camera and an LED flash light.
