That didn't take long. Just days after the company confirmed it was testing the ability to port an existing number to Google Voice for a $20 fee, Google has now come out and officially launched the service. Existing users (new users won't get the option for a few weeks) interested in porting an existing number into the service simply have to log in to their Google Voice account, visit the Settings page and click on "Change / Port" next to your Google Voice number. According to Google, after users pay their $20 porting is usually accomplished within twenty-four hours.
