Macronix International, which makes NOR flash memory and mask ROM chips, has announced revenues for January 2011 grew 23.7% sequentially to NT$2.15 billion (US$74 million).
With its major ROM client adjusting the release schedule of its new games console, Macronix saw revenues drop substantially on month in October and November.
Revenues bounced back to a growth track in December, but overall sales in the fourth quarter came below the company's guidance.
