Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is accelerating its deployment in western China with its R&D center in Changsha, Hunan province to commence official operations in April.

Construction of the office building in Changsha has completed, and the company will begin to relocate its R&D staff in Shenzhen and other areas to Changsha in April, said the sources.

The R&D center will initially focus on the development of software, digital content and related products for China's triple network convergence, the sources added.
