Macronix International, a supplier of mask ROM and NOR flash memory chips, has reported US$71 million in revenues for June 2011.
Macronix's June sales slid 3.1% from the previous month, and declined by a larger 20.8% compared to the NT$2.59 billion registered in June 2010. The company accumulated NT$12.885 billion in revenues from January through June 2011, showing a 7.3% decrease compared to the same period of 2010.
Macronix remarked previously that ROM orders were slowing down while sales of NOR flash memory would perform relatively strong in the second quarter. Macronix's sales ratio between ROM, flash and other products was 41:51:8 in the first quarter of 2011.
