Adata Technology announced that Il Ung Kim has resigned as company president. There is no replacement of Kim as the company previously had two presidents running its operations.

Adata reportedly hired Kim around the end of 2009 as it expected his work experience to help enhance the company's presence in South Korea and other non-Taiwan markets.

Prior to Adata, Kim worked as a senior VP of marketing for Samsung Electronics' memory division
