HTC is expected to unveil its first batch of Mango phones on September 1, including the 3.7-inch HTC Eternity and 4.5-inch HTC Omega. The two models will both run on Windows Phone 7.1, according to industry sources.
The two Mango phones will support more than 500 applications, including direct connection with social networks, Xbox Live and Bing maps, the sources noted.
Although over 90% of HTC's smartphones are currently running on Android, HTC has said it continues to strengthen its ties with Microsoft, but the company declined to reveal its product roadmap for 2012.
HTC has also refrained from commenting whether it will adjust its product ratio between Android and Windows Phone.
