Intel has recently launched several new Sandy Bridge-based processors, while has also reduced the price of some existing CPUs to defend from AMD's competition with APUs.
Of the new CPUs, some of them are for desktop including Core i5-2320, Pentium G630T and Celeron G540, priced between US$37-177, while the rest are for notebooks including quad-core Core i7-2960XM, Core i7-2860QM and Core i7-2760QM; dual-core Core i7-2640M and Celeron B840, priced at US$1,096, US$568, US$378, US$346 and US$86, respectively, in thousand-unit tray quantities.
Meanwhile, Intel also reduced the price of several existing CPUs including Core i7-2600S, Core i5-2500S and Core i5-2500T.
