Nanya Technology and Inotera Memories reports revenues for August, increasing on month by 2.36%, 3.56% and 14.95% respectively.
Nanya's shipments in August increased on month by 29% but the corresponding ASP (average selling price) decreased by 21%, resulting in a small increase in revenues, the company indicated. Viewing that PC demand has remained stagnant and spot market prices are still lower than contract prices, September DRAM contract prices will continue to fall by a small percentage than in August, Nanya pointed out.
