HTC is likely to unveil a new Android-based tablet PC running on a quad-core CPU from Nvidia along with two new Android smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) schedule in Feb 2012.

The quad-core tablet PC is expected to launch prior to the release of Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system scheduled at the end of the third quarter of 2012, the paper indicated.

One of HTC's two new Android phones will be also powered by a Nvidia quad-core chip, the paper said.
