Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is expected to start trial operation at its Cybermart IT mall in northern Taiwan at the end of the first quarter, according to sources from retailers.

In addition to the IT mall in Taipei, the company reportedly also has plans to expand its retail business in central and southern Taiwan.

The new Cybermart IT malls are expected to officially start operating in mid-2012 after the trial operation, the sources noted.
