Nanya Technology and Inotera Memories have both reported sequential growth in revenues for October 2012, thanks to stabilizing chip prices in the spot market and higher shipments.
Nanya announced October revenues of NT$2.24 billion (US$76.7 million), representing a 20.4% sequential rise. But compared to NT$2.79 billion a year ago, the figure for October 2012 showed a 19.5% decline.
Nanya accumulated NT$27.7 billion in revenues from January through October, down 14.3% from the same period of 2011.
Inotera generated revenues of NT$2.96 billion for October 2012, up 5.7% on month but down 1.1% from a year earlier. Revenues amounted to NT$29.1 billion for the first 10 months of 2012, about an 8% decrease on year.
