Sony will open pre-orders for the Bravia KD-84X9000, its 84-inch Ultra HD (4Kx2K) LCD TV with dynamic LED edge-type backlight, in the Taiwan market between December 7, 2012-January 20, 2013 at a retail price of US$27,394.

Sony will visit the residences of interested customers to provide an evaluation and consulting. The 84-inch TV which will be made in Japan and shipped to Taiwan, Sony Taiwan pointed out. In addition, Sony will showcase the LCD TV at some of its retail stores around Taiwan, Sony Taiwan indicated.

The LCD TV will be launched for retail sale on January 21, 2013.
