Adata reports revenues up by 14%

Adata Technology's revenues for December 2012 registered a 14.75% sequential increase, as a recent rebound in chip prices buoyed sales of DRAM modules.

Adata has announced December revenues of NT$2.51 billion (US$86.6 million). DRAM modules accounted for 56.96% of the revenues, up 11pp on month.

In contrast, the sales ratio for NAND flash and other products slipped to 43.04% in December. Sales of SSDs and external HDDs collectively accounted for more than 20% of company revenues during the same period.

Adata reported NT$27.98 billion in 2012 revenues. The firm's sales ratio between DRAM modules and non-DRAM products was 41:59.

Phison Electronics, which puts an emphasis on NAND flash devices, saw its December revenues decrease 14% on month to NT$2.44 billion. Revenues for all of 2012 came to an all-time high of NT$33.08 billion
