Quanta Computer shipped 3.5 million notebooks in March 2013, increasing 21% on month, and 9.7 million units in the first quarter, decreasing on quarter by 27%.
Quanta on April 10 reported consolidated revenues of NT$70.6 billion (US$2.36 billion) for March, growing 24.96% on month but dropping 10.08% on year, and those of NT$197.303 billion for January-March, slipping 16.91% on year.
Meanwhile, Pegatron shipped about 900,000 notebooks in March and three million units in the first quarter, the company indicated. Pegatron saw March consolidated revenues of NT$64.581 billion dipping 5.95% on month but rising 12.21% on year, while its January-March consolidated revenues of NT$221.317 billion increased on year by 28.92%.
