Gigabyte Technology is showcasing four new 8 series motherboards at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) Beijing from April 10-11 in China.

The motherboards are Z87N-WIFI, targeting the home theater PC (HTPC) market; H87-D3H, featuring 2-way CrossFire technology; Z87X-D3H, targeting the gaming market; and B85-HD3, targeting the enterprise market.

All the motherboards feature solid capacitors, high-quality ferrite inductors and Gigabyte's 2x copper, moisture-, lightning-, static- and high-temperature-proof PCB design to allow stable computing performance.

Gigabyte shipped almost five million motherboards in the first quarter of 2013 and with the new motherboards set to start shipping in May, the company is expected to see a good second quarter with rising product ASPs.
