Memory module firm Transcend Information saw its consolidated revenues soar 24.1% on month and 17.9% from a year ago to an 17-month high of NT$2.62 billion (US$87 million) in March 2013.

Transcend's consolidated sales amounted to NT$7.05 billion in the first quarter, representing growth of 3.8% sequentially and 13.8% on year.

Transcend indicated that all of its product segments registered shipment growth in March. The company manufactures NAND flash devices, DRAM modules, and industrial memory devices such as rugged SSD modules.

Transcend said that April revenues are set to remain at high levels with stable DRAM and NAND flash chip prices playing a key contributing factor.
