Formosa Advanced Technologies (FATC), which provides backend services for DRAM manufacturers Nanya Technology and Inotera Memories, will see its June sales rebound significantly on a pull-in of orders, according to a recent Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
Two of FATC's backend plants are operating at full capacity, while utilization rate at the its third facility has reached 90%, the report indicated. A ramp-up in orders placed by Nanya for its mobile DRAM and low-power products has led to the rising utilization rates, the report said.
The brisk June results will help FATC report sales growth of over 5% sequentially for the second quarter of 2013, the report indicated.
